All the things you can do with LVT

LVT, a shortened industry term for Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring, offers just about everything you might possibly need for your floors. It all starts with an amazing construction offering you stability, durability, and functionality. But it goes on to provide a gorgeous look as well as plenty of amazing benefits that are sure to help you love these floors even more. Even the lifespan is long enough that you won’t have to worry about floor shopping again for at least a couple of decades.

At Carpet Mills Direct, we are proud to serve the areas of West Palm, Boca Raton, Wellington, Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach, all from our showroom located in Lake Worth, FL. We invite you there at your convenience to take a look at our excellent supply of quality discount flooring and speak with an associate who is more than happy to help you pick the perfect one for your own home. We can finish up your project with an installation performed by our experienced installers, giving you the floor of your dreams in no time.

LVT brings excellence to every space

LVT offers the benefit of added thickness, which can then be translated into noise reduction, extra insulation, and a great deal of underfoot resilience and comfort. These floors are much easier to stand on for longer periods of time, such as when you’re preparing or cleaning up after dinner. With a top wear layer, it also provides excellent protection against much of your daily wear such as scratches, scuffs, and fading and helps the flooring to reach its intended lifespan.

When it comes to maintaining your LVT, it’s nice to know it’s not a complicated procedure. Daily sweeping and mopping can take care of any dirt and debris, but there are other measures you can take that will help maintain your floors as well. For instance, placing an area rug in spaces that will catch the dirt that would otherwise be tracked onto your floor is an excellent protective measure. Combined with all the great features of the flooring itself, the results will be amazing.

Installing LVT is an easy process; however, subfloors must be in good shape. This material will actually follow any low spots, seams, or gaps that exist in the level it's being attached to and could eventually damage your tiles. And underlayment helps and can be installed just prior to the flooring itself.
